We treat EVERYONE! However, we are committed to nurturing the mental health of those dealing with opioid misuse in a respectful and stigma-free environment. Let's face it, most health care settings do not treat people with OUD with respect. Not here. Treating you without judgment, with respect and understanding is paramount.
We are in network with several insurers. Check here. We also have competitive self-pay rates.
If you don’t know your diagnosis, you might be confused about whether we can help. We are best for people who are dealing with mild or moderate mental health issues that are getting in the way of day-to-day life and recovery. We likely aren’t a good fit for people with severe symptoms requiring in-person supervision.
At therapyease we offer psychiatric care, meaning the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions. Your psychiatric provider will meet with you virtually on a schedule you set together, devise a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and preferences, and work with you to adjust your plan as you meet your goals.
If your treatment plan includes medication, your psychiatric provider will prescribe and manage it. If needed, your psychiatric provider can also refer you to a therapyease therapist.
If you’re not open to taking medication right now, therapyease might not be the right fit for you. That is because medication combined with supportive therapy is often the best way to address the conditions we treat.
Expect to share your medical history, current symptoms, and goals for care. It'll be a non-judgmental space to express your feelings. The psychiatrist may propose treatment plans, including medication or psychotherapy.
In your first therapy session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and your goals for treatment. We will also talk about your medical history and any current symptoms you may be experiencing.
The frequency of therapy sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Many clients attend therapy once a week, while others may attend less frequently. We will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.
therapyease does not provide emergency care. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call 911 or the Suicide and Crisis Lifelife at 988.
